PINs for Your Library Account
Adding a PIN to your library account is a great way to improve security online. PINs are required to access many online library services, such as online databases, (coming soon) Libby, and your Account Portal. PINs are not required to use your library card in a library.
PINs are between 4 and 8 characters, numbers and/or letters. PINs are not case-sensitive.
How to Add a PIN
If you have never previously created a PIN, you can add your PIN yourself.
- Log into your library account.
- Type in your barcode (note: barcode is on the back of your library card).
- Click on Submit.
- If your account does not currently have a PIN, you will be asked to create a PIN.
- After confirming your PIN, your new PIN has been set and is ready for use.
If the above does not work for you, please contact a library.
How to Change Your PIN
You can change your PIN by contacting a library, from the Login page, or from your patron profile in the Account Portal.
