Classic Monster Movie Marathon

Birmingham Public Library Central

Saturday, October 27, at 10 a.m.

Want to get into the Halloween spirit this year? Then join us at the Birmingham Public Library (BPL) Central Library Saturday, October 27, at 10 a.m. in the Youth Department Story Castle. We will be featuring classic black and white horror movies from yesteryear. It’s your chance to see Bela Lugosi in Dracula, Boris Karloff in Frankenstein, Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolf Man, King Kong, and many others. These classic horror movies scared and thrilled audiences when they were first released and they still have the same effect on audiences today.  In order to complete the spooky ambience and the fun, the library will be serving popcorn and drinks.
