 Bessemer is known for the Bright Star Restaurant, Visionland, and the
WaterMark Outlet Center; but did you know that we also have a fantastic
library for you to enjoy? We have over 70,000 items available to be
checked out, as well as one of the largest unabridged audiobook
collections in the county. The Bessemer Library has a great selection of
the latest DVDs and videos. Surf the internet or type a resume on one of
our ten public computers. The library is linked to the Alabama Virtual
Library site which allows you to access a number of free databases from
home or from the library. The Bessemer Library is in a building program
and the changes will soon extend to our web site. We plan to feature a
link to our outstanding Adult Book Club, featuring monthly selections,
reviews, and author sites. Also, we will be highlighting a link to our
children’s programming, storytimes, and activities. Stop by and see us
