Young Author to Speak at Gardendale-Martha Moore Public Library

Jay Dingler, 19-year-old author of The Infinite Odyssey, will discuss writing science fiction and the publication of his book. Inspired by George Lucas and other science fiction writers, Dingler began writing his five hundred-page book at the age of sixteen. Hitching My Wagon to a Star

Jane Culbreth worked for over a quarter of a century to transform Leeds, Alabama. Her energy and determination established the public library that is now named in her honor.
