 The
Trussville Public Library's website has been online since June 1999. The
site was the first of the library websites in Jefferson County to offer
online holds requests from its patrons. The site offers an "Ask the
Librarian service from which patrons can e-mail the Reference Librarian a
question, and the reference page provided links categorized by subject.
Links to HeritageQuest and other Jefferson County/Alabama Virtual
Library databases are on the main page. Site users will also find links to
the online catalog and the Reader (under Calendar of Events). Be
sure to check out the children's and young adults' pages for pictures of
programs and events calendars. In the future the library hopes to offer
online check to it patrons. Check back often to find new areas to explore
at www.trussvillelibrary.com.
