The Oedipus Cycle
November 12-13, Friday-Saturday, 8 p.m.

The longest-running classical touring company in the United States, National Players has brought classical productions to more than 2.5 million people across the country since its inception in 1949. In The Oedipus Cycle, they bring Sophocles’ epic story of destiny, love, betrayal and self-discovery to life. National Players has toured 56 consecutive seasons and completed more than 6,500 performances.

"A sure cure for the holiday ho-hums." Watch out as some of Birmingham’s best comics and musicians take aim at all things Southern, leaving the audience in fits of laughter.
