Janis Ian - In Concert - September 10-11, Friday-Saturday, 8 p.m. Grammy Award-winner Janis Ian burst onto the music scene in 1964 with her controversial song, Society’s Child. Now, nearly 40 years, 9 Grammy nominations, and 18 albums later, her music is as vital as ever. She was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001. Her resplendent mix of unadulterated folk, jazz, and blues continues to wow audiences across the world. Janis Ian was the featured performer of the very first Saturday Night Live show.
