Homewood Public Library has unveiled its updated Web
site. This redesigned site offers much more than its predecessor. One
glance at the home page, and you will find highlights to major library and
community events as well as links to city, county, and state agencies or
departments. Click on any of the Library’s Department pages, and you’ll
see even more. The Children’s Web pages contain a calendar of events,
slideshows of programs, and links to child-friendly Internet sites. The
Young Adult Web pages have reviews, program descriptions, photos, and
more. The Adult Web pages contain an author of the month bibliography,
information on the Brown Bag Program, and readers’ advisory information.
In addition, all three departments have links to the online catalog, where
you can browse for books and place holds 24 hours a day, and access the
JCLC databases--free, accurate online reference sources.
In July, the Homewood Public Library launched yet another new addition
to its site--an online book club! So much is happening on the Homewood
Public Library Web site you’ll want to click on our site often to see
what’s new! |
