Central Park Stompers - In Concert
May 9, Friday, 8 p.m., May 10, Saturday, 8 p.m.
Hailing from New York, this seven-piece swing ensemble is a perfect mix of 1940's nostalgia, rock 'n roll, and high-octane energy. Dressed to the nines in authentic period garb, they'll leave you dancing in the aisles and shouting for more.
"It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing."
Tickets $15

Para Siempre (Forever) By Studio By The Tracks
The artists featured in this exhibition create works weekly at Studio By The Tracks, a non-profit art studio that offers free art lessons to special needs adults and at-risk youth. The artists have been experimenting with shifting scale and mixed media. With their unique and idiosyncratic perception, they offer dynamic and sophisticated visions into a rich world of imagination and invention.

Three Birmingham-based artists plan to visit Cambodia in late March, principally Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat, to create collaborative works and to collaborate with leading contemporary Cambodian artist, Leng Seckon. The artists, who all work in a range of media, will create most of the exhibition during their residency in Cambodia. The title of the show and the works will reflect the objects and experiences they encounter.
