Storyteller
and Illustrator Wil Clay
Wil Clays illustrations have won many honors including the
Coretta Scott King Honor Book Award for his illustrations in Little
Eight John. Other books this artist illustrated include Tailypo,
Auntee Edna, 213 Valentines, Themba, The Real
McCoy, The House in the Sky, I Am Rosa Parks, as
well as his being one of the illustrators in the I Have A Dream
book of Martin Luther King Jr.s speech by that name. Mr. Clay will be
telling some of the African American folktales he has illustrated and
doing on-site drawing. Books will be available for sale and
autographing.
