With over 60 fine maps in the exhibit, view Birmingham’s development through early exploration maps to satellite imagery. The exhibit features maps donated to the library by Rucker Agee. Visitors will enjoy early French and Spanish explorations maps, a "holster atlas" carried by British officers in 1776, the first geological map of Alabama, and various maps of Birmingham and it’s suburbs from the 1870s to today.
