A Musical Celebration of Black History Month

Excellent performances from Carver High School, Jackson Olin High School, the School of Fine Arts and others. These promise to be uplifting wonderful programs that will set your senses reeling and your feet tapping.

March
A Celebration of Women's History Month
Presented by the Social Sciences Department
Wednesday, March 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th
Presentations by local area scholars on the accomplishments and contributions of women in our society.

April
"I'm Alabama Bound"
Wednesday April 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th
Join us for programs that focus on Alabama authors and their works. These will serve as an introduction to the Alabama Bound book fair to be held on Saturday, April 28th at the central library.

These programs are held at 12:00 noon in the 3rd floor auditorium of the Linn-Henley Building.  The library provides beverages.

No reservations are needed.  Programs are free and open to the public.  For additional information call (205) 226-3604
